Avusa was independently assessed as a Level 3 contributor, with a B-BBEE recognition level of 135%. This improvement from Level 4 is testament to our commitment to the transformation of our organisation.
The group had significant improvement in Preferential Procurement and a marginal increase in the Skills Development scores. We will continue to focus on the human capital elements with sound and focused human resources policies to ensure that we have a significant number of black people as well as black females represented in all levels of junior, middle and senior management. We have again obtained maximum points in the areas of Enterprise Development as well as Socio-Economic Development.
We continue to address all challenges progressively and to institute improvements in line with the B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice.
